Where is the 2026 World Cup Being Played?
The 2026 Football World Cup will be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada, being the first time the countries have co-hosted the tournament.
The 2026 tournament will be the largest in history, expanding to 48 teams across 16 host cities. The scale of the competition places unprecedented demands on infrastructure, hospitality, and global travel coordination.

USA
The USA will host the competition for the second time. It solely hosted the Men’s World Cup in 1994. Eleven cities from around the USA will host fixtures, with the final taking place in New York New Jersey.



Mexico
Mexico will host the competition for the third time. It solely hosted the 1970 and 1986 Men’s World Cups. Three cities in Mexico will host fixtures across the tournament.


Canada
Canada will be hosting the global competition for the first time but did host the Women’s Football World Cup in 2015. Two Canadian cities will host fixtures across the tournament.
