Offering unique cultures, an ancient and diverse history and picturesque scenery, Japan is a place like no other and we’ve made sure you can experience it all.

Your first stop are the snowy mountains of Hakuba, one of Japan’s most renowned ski areas. Comprising multiple resorts and boasting the enviable trait of almost guaranteed snow fall, it truly is a world class ski destination. Situated within the stunning mountain scenery of the Japanese Alps, this is where your incredible adventure begins.

The area gained worldwide recognition during the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, hosting several of the skiing events, and over the years has developed into a winter paradise for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Whether your preference is gentle pistes or tree-lined powder runs, Hakuba has got you covered. Visit Abu Dhabi – Dubai’s Refined and Stunning Neighbour

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The immense wealth that’s associated with Abu Dhabi wasn’t always prevalent, however, and as recently as the 1950s its struggling economy relied mainly on the pearl industry. With the discovery of oil in 1958, however, its wealth has soared and it’s now the richest emirate in a country that has one of the highest levels of GDP per capita in the world.

Since Abu Dhabi’s huge economic upturn in the last 60 years, there’s been a concentrated effort on increasing tourism. However, while its glitzy neighbour, Dubai, is all about partying and glamour, Abu Dhabi is more focused on culture, and with its palatial architecture sitting on the crystal-clear waters of the Persian Gulf, the sites are stunning.

Abu Dhabi luxury travel

The preservation of its enlightened history and culture is at the heart of Abu Dhabi’s tourism drive. As such, there’s a whole host of intriguing and unique activities that can be enjoyed. From taking a desert safari or relaxing on the golden sand beaches, to visiting the Saadiyat Cultural District and the beautifully made mosques, there’s so much on offer that takes the breath away.

The emirate is also filled with universities, galleries and museums including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, which was constructed in agreement with France. Additionally, there’s a classical music season, running from October to May, in which internationally renowned conductors and musicians perform in a series of eclectic and coveted performances.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Another example of Abu Dhabi’s commitment to tourism is its Grand Prix and accompanying exceptional Formula 1 hospitality experience. The Yas Marina Circuit was constructed with no expenses spared, reportedly costing more than $1 billion, and as such, is arguably the most impressive circuit on the F1 tour. The course is the centrepiece of a modern development on Yas Island, which also includes luxury hotels, shopping centres, golf courses and three theme parks. Ultra-comfortable facilities and high-end Grand Prix hospitality suites take the viewing experience to a new level and the circuit is also one of only three twilight races on the F1 calendar, which provides an absolutely stunning sunset backdrop to the race.

We recently organised the trip of a lifetime for some valued clients who will be enjoying this year’s race from the all-new Deck at Nine luxury hospitality suite, over three days. The open-air VIP terrace gives panoramic vistas over the track presenting incredible views of the action. We’ve booked our guests to stay at the renowned Shangri-La hotel, a five-star, luxury oasis in the heart of the action and we’ve organised three business conferences for the group, as well as all executive transfers throughout the stay.

From its heritage, culture and beautiful scenery, to the luxury hotels, restaurants and experiences on offer, Abu Dhabi really is a destination that we recommend visiting. Easy access to Dubai is another draw and gives the opportunity to enjoy a livelier scene if desired. To book your own bespoke trip to this opulent emirate, or to sort out your 2023 Grand Prix package, please get in touch with us here. We’d love to hear from you and can take care of all elements of your experience, meaning you don’t need to think about a thing.

A 5-Star Business Break to ‘Magic City’

At Blend Group, we specialise in putting together bespoke, luxury experiences for our exclusive, high-net-worth clientele. We have been making once-in-a-lifetime trips happen all over the globe for five years now, for both personal and business experiences. We recently curated a work trip to Miami for one of our valued clients and his 15 colleagues, who had such a fantastic time that we wanted to share the details of the experience here.

As this was a four-night break, we needed to ensure we fit all the client’s requirements into a short space of time. The group wanted to stay in a 5-star hotel, with world-class facilities and in a beautiful location, so we booked them into 1 South Beach Hotel. Sitting on 600 feet of white-sand beach along the Atlantic Ocean, the location was perfect, and amenities such as four swimming pools, a rooftop bar, conference facilities and a wellness spa meant that the guests had everything they needed on-site.

After arriving from Europe by private jet, the agenda for the first evening was light but included a team catch-up in a hotel meeting room that we booked in advance. The rest of the evening was spent relaxing at leisure.

Day two was all about unwinding and enjoying the hotel’s pristine spa facilities and treatments, before taking to some local shopping malls. For dinner that evening, we booked the group into Komodo – a sleek and chic Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant in the heart of Miami’s vibrant Brickell neighbourhood.

After the previous evening’s entertainment, a relaxed morning was followed by a private Cabana hire at the hotel’s rooftop pool, allowing the group to exclusively enjoy their surroundings. A private dining experience was arranged for the group’s evening meal at Milos Miami, the esteemed seafood restaurant on Miami’s South Beach. We sourced a private photographer to help capture the magical evening and arranged a post-dinner private area at Watr, back at the hotel in one of its rooftop bars.

The best was saved until last, however, as Day 4 saw the group take to the open waters on their very own yacht, complete with a private chef. This exclusive and opulent experience was the perfect way to round off an ideal luxury business break.

If this kind of experience sounds like something you’d like to enjoy, we’d love to hear from you, so please GET IN TOUCH. We’ll take on board your requirements and make it happen for you. We can also look after all your travel needs, including all on-the-ground transfers.

The resort’s Spa and Fitness facilities offer ultimate relaxation opportunities. The Iridium Spa provides a transformative journey within an oasis of tropical inspiration and the Yoga and Meditation Studio and Fitness Centre provides a variety of group or individual classes, as well as a personal trainer service.

Additionally, an outdoor tennis court as well as opportunities for biking, volleyball, fly-fishing, water-skiing, jet-skiing and sailing will allow you to be as active as you wish during your stay.

Wimbledon 2022

Wimbledon returned in the summer of 2021 with a thrilling instalment of the world-famous tournament. Novak Djokovic was successful in his defence of the men’s title, as Ashleigh Barty took home the ladies prize.

Perhaps, however, the greatest highlight was the performance of 18-year-old British wildcard Emma Raducanu, who mesmerised audiences on her way to the last-16 at her debut Grand Slam. She heartbreakingly had to withdraw from her final match but came back with a bang at the US Open, recording one of the most famous, and unlikely, tournament victories of all time

It’s time to book your place for Wimbledon 2022. Once again, Blend Group is offering a luxury package with access to the most premium debenture seats available on both Centre and Number One Court. From here you’ll enjoy unrivalled views of the action, complemented with the option of fine dining at one of the debenture restaurants or lounge bars, enabling you to sample the gourmet food and fine wines on offer during breaks in play.

As always, the best players in the world will be competing on the historic Wimbledon turf and it may be the last ever occasion that we see 8-time champion Roger Federer competing. The most successful player in the history of the tournament continues to suffer with potentially career-ending  knee difficulties but is determined to try and win Wimbledon one final time.

So, will Emma be able to go all the way this time? Is this the last chance to see Roger in action at Wimbledon? To book your Wimbledon experience, please get in touch with us here. If you are planning on coming from afar, let us know so we can accommodate for transfers, hotels and any evening fine dining you require.

Experience the First-Ever Miami Grand Prix with Panoramic Views of the Action

When you think of Miami you picture white-sand beaches, a high-end night scene and a beautiful climate. It aptly boasts the name “Magic City” and now there’s another reason to visit – this May, Miami is hosting its debut Formula One Grand Prix and it promises to be magical. If you’d like to learn more about the forthcoming Miami GP, you can see our recent Experience piece here.

At Blend Group we strive to ensure our clients experience luxury, once-in-a-lifetime trips that are completely tailored to individual requirements. We have access to the world’s best events and the most exclusive accommodation, whilst being able to source the finest surrounding services available.

We recently curated a bespoke experience for a valued client who is taking some business associates to Miami for the Grand Prix. The client’s brief was to be close to the action within the best hospitality available. We were also asked to find a suitable 5* luxury hotel, as well as to organise some evening entertainment.

Upon arriving at Miami International Airport, our group will be met by an executive private transfer and driven straight to their hotel, the 5* Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. Encapsulating the glamour of Miami, this ocean-front resort offers luxury amenities, including an elevated outdoor pool, a serene spa and its very own locally-inspired cocktail bar.

The guests will reside in the hotel’s Lanai Suite, boasting a clear view of the Atlantic which can be enjoyed from a private balcony. A spacious living area complete with WiFi, Smart TV and mini-bar will provide all the entertainment necessary if some down-time is on the cards during the trip.

As for fine dining, there are of course high-end culinary options available at the hotel, however, we’ve also booked the group into the acclaimed steak and seafood restaurant Bourbon Steak for the evening before the big race.

The race itself will be enjoyed from a Premium Lounge on the Start/Finish line. As the name suggests, guests are afforded unrivalled viewing of the action, with premium panoramic views of the paddock, starting grid and the longest straight on the track.

An open-air, shaded lounge awaits with gourmet food prepared by Michelin Star chefs and a complimentary bar. From the lounge the guests will be able to keep a close eye on the pit garage and pre-race activity, as well as having unspoiled views of the podium ceremony, giving the feel of being a part of the ensuing celebrations.

Business-class return flights and all on-the-ground transfers are also included for the group, meaning they can simply sit back, relax and enjoy all that this one-of-a-kind city and adrenaline-fuelled event have to offer.

If you love the sound of this experience, please get in touch with us here and we would be delighted to create a bespoke trip for you.

Elegance and adrenalin on ice

Corporate Sport Hospitality Packages

The crash of hooves on the ice, snow flying as the mallet hits; the pop of champagne, cool from the Alpine air. Polo is always an elegant affair, but paired with the snowy scenes of one of Switzerland’s most exclusive resorts, it takes on new heights.

Every year, four teams, sponsored by Cartier, Maserati, Badrutt’s Palace and Azerbaijan, fly in to battle it out on the frozen lake of St Moritz in the world’s only high goal tournament played on the ice. Our guests were a group of French polo enthusiasts, keen to see this unique spectacle, and enjoy the legendary scene of St Moritz.

The resort is located in Switzerland’s upper Engadin valley, a hidden winter wonderland accessed via a scenic and winding alpine pass, but just two and a half hours from Zürich airport. Guests arrived into Zürich in the evening, and spent the night at the Baur au Lac hotel, a beautiful historic setting on the edge of the lake. Dinner was served at Maison Manesse, a contemporary restaurant focussed on local produce from farmers in the region.

The next morning, the guests took a leisurely transfer to St Moritz, enjoying the stunning Swiss scenery as they drove the two and a half hours south towards to Engadin. On arrival, they were welcomed into a private chalet five minutes from the lake, complete with private swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and elevator. The well-equipped kitchen was the domain of the private chef, hired to delight the group with local and seasonal specialties before and after their equine adventures.

VIP passes included an invitation to the exclusive lounge in Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, the most prestigious address in St Moritz. Lunch was accompanied by spectacular views of the matches on the lake, as well as fine wine and cigars. If the group preferred to be closer to the action, seats in the grandstand were provided, with a glass of champagne and a blanket.

After the Badrutt’s Palace team collected their trophy, the group took the short walk back to the chalet, for an exclusive private dinner, via several of the town’s high-end VIP après ski bars. They were back in time for an aperitif, before enjoying the chef’s fine culinary creations.

If you are interested in attending next years’ St. Moritz Polo, get in touch with Blend Group’s team.
