Two Grand Prix Are Better Than One
Here at Blend Group, we love the F1 season. In recent years the excitement and drama levels have been taken to a new level, adding even more flair to what has always been one of the most adrenaline-fuelled, gasp-inducing sports there is.
We also love sending our clients away to enjoy race day from the finest hospitality suites available, building out bespoke packages that include luxury accommodation, travel requirements and additional experiences during the trip. In recent years, we’ve facilitated sponsor and client events at numerous races, including the Abu Dhabi GP, Mexico GP and most recently Australian GP.
Without fail, our clients joyously report back about the once-in-a-lifetime experience that was had by all and it’s got us thinking about how we could go even further to enhance the levels of enjoyment and uniqueness on offer. So, we’ve come up with the concept of attending two F1 Grand Prix races in the space of a week. Think double the amount of excitement and adrenaline, coupled with the opportunity to see more of the world, all within a short space of time that won’t have you out of the office for too long.
Italy to Monaco: 19th to 28th May
Between the 19th and 21st of May, the Emilia-Romagna GP is taking place in Imola, nestled in between the Tuscan hills to the south, Adriatic beaches to the east and the gastronomy power-houses of Bologna and Parma to the west. Due to the varied and stunning surroundings, this is the ideal place to make your base for a few days. The Italian GP is also one of the most historic races on the circuit, being the fifth-oldest national GP, as well as the most frequently held GP of all time.
Once finished in Italy, we’ll fly you roughly 500km west to Monaco, the iconic home of luxury and opulence, in addition to one of the most world-renowned F1 races on the calendar. Forming one-third of motorsport’s Triple Crown, along with the Indianapolis 500 and Le Mans, the Grand Prix at Monaco attracts star-studded spectatorship and razzmatazz like no other event. The iconic Monaco track dissects the narrow city streets, demanding an immense level of skill and accuracy from drivers, and once the action’s finished, you’ll be able to enjoy the splendour of the French Riviera, as well as Monaco’s famous nightlife.
USA to Mexico: 20th to 29th October
Austin, Texas plays host to the USA’s second of three Grand Prix races this season, from the 20th to the 22nd of October. The Circuit of the Americas, which was first opened in 2012, is regarded as one of the world’s great modern race tracks, while the city of Austin is renowned for its character, charm, vibrancy and barbeques.
Across the border, around 1,000 miles south, Mexico City is set to host its high-altitude instalment between the 27th and 29th of October. The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez sits over 2km above sea level and is just outside of one of the world’s most eclectic, cultural and lively capital cities.
Experiencing the F1 this way is a truly incredible opportunity to sample different cultures, cuisines and climates while taking in one of the greatest live sports shows on earth. We can organise all of your travel, including private executive transfers, as well as organising additional once-in-a-lifetime experiences and office space should you require it.
