Back in April, we were kindly invited by The Dorchester Collection to a luxury weekend retreat at their stunning rural property; Coworth Park in Ascot. Nestled away in the beautiful Berkshire countryside, the luxurious spa hotel is the perfect spot to unwind, relax and rejuvenate.

From the moment our private transfer collected us from London, we were able to sink into a scenic route of 5-star bliss and wave goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city. There on, every detail of our trip had been carefully orchestrated and the itinerary listed an array of leisurely pursuits available on the grounds, which set us up for an exciting night away.
On arrival, we were greeted by the wonderful staff and shown to our exceptional Deluxe Room in the Mansion House. The room had carefully personalised touches and small delights (incl. a bottle of champagne and a selection of cakes).
The afternoon started in the Mansion House with a gorgeous champagne reception and warm welcome from the team. This was shortly followed by a guided wellness walk around the grounds by the hotel’s very own Yoga Instructor, Mandy Penalver, who led us through a meditation session and showed us the meadows, kitchen garden and pond.
We then made our way to The Drawing Room for Afternoon Tea and tucked into the most gorgeous delicious selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. I’m still dreaming about them now.

After this, we were split into different activities available on-site; from a host of Spa Treatments to visiting the Equestrian centre and horse-riding around the grounds. It was truly a beautiful and unique way of making the most of the 240-acre estate.
Shortly after this, we were graced with a Polo Exhibition on the grounds of the estate, complemented by champagne, Pimms and other treats.

After this, we enjoyed some downtime before getting ready for a cocktail reception at The Barn. The rustic barn setting made it an idyllic spot to take in the sunset over the grounds whilst enjoying a selection of canapès. Then representatives from each of The Dorchester’s 10 properties gave a speech highlighting the bespoke charm and individual character of each of their accommodations. This was shortly followed by Michelin-starred dining with a brasserie-style menu.

We were then treated to a surprise appearance from the London Essentials band who were absolutely brilliant, so much so that we danced the night away.
Unfortunately, we had to leave early the next day and missed the activities planned which included Sunrise Yoga in The Tower House and a surprise keynote speaker – Mandy Hickson, the first female fighter jet pilot in the RAF. Thankfully, we were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast at The Woven by Adam Smith.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the wonderful team at the Dorchester Collection for making it an unforgettable weekend; one that left us feeling relaxed and re-energised. The organisation and attention to detail was completely faultless – making it a trip to remember!
