Give to Gain: Meet the Women Powering Blend Group
International Women’s Day, Every Day
The recently celebrated International Women’s Day is one day in the calendar, but the women who power Blend Group show up every single day.
This year’s theme, #GiveToGain, felt deeply personal to us because that’s exactly how so many of our team have grown: by sharing freely, learning continuously, and lifting each other along the way.
Meet the Women Powering Blend Group
We’re fortunate to have a team of talented women at Blend Group.
They’re the people who help turn ideas into reality, who build relationships that last and who bring energy and expertise to everything we deliver across our services.

Give to Gain
This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Give to Gain”.
The theme is simple – when we share knowledge, support others and bring our unique perspectives to the table, everyone benefits.
This resonates with us because it’s not just a theme, it’s how our team works every day.
We are proud of our talented women, so rather than posting a quote and moving on, we asked the women in our team two simple questions:
1️⃣ Give: What one piece of advice would you give your younger self?
2️⃣ Gain: Looking ahead, what lesson or insight do you hope to carry forward this year?
We also asked if them to include if they have any organisations, charities, or non-profits that they particularly support or resonate with.
Here’s what they said:
Danielle Lynn – Event & Lifestyle Services Manager
Give: What one piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t take things too seriously and try not to put too much pressure on yourself to have everything figured out. The relationships you build and the experiences you gain along the way are truly priceless.
Gain: Looking ahead, what lesson or insight do you hope to carry forward this year?
To take each day as it comes and embrace the unpredictability. Since becoming a mother, it has reminded me that things don’t always go to plan, so learning to pause, adapt, and appreciate the moment is all part of the fun.
Charitable support:
Little Village HQ. I regularly donate clothes and toys here and really admire the support they provide to families with young children across London.
Katie Bower – Sponsor & Key Account Lead
Give: What one piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Take risks, step outside of your comfort zone & enjoy the opportunities that come with that.
Gain: Looking ahead, what lesson or insight do you hope to carry forward this year?
With a busy fitness challenge year ahead, I will be remembering that consistency is key! Manageable actions lead to significant, long-term results, missing one day doesn’t reverse all the hard work to get to that point.
Katie Durack – Partner and Membership Lead
Give: What one piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Believe in yourself. You’re far more capable and resilient than you realise.
For a long time, I underestimated my own voice and worried too much about what others might think.
The truth is, confidence doesn’t come from having all of the answers, it comes from being brave enough to show up and give things a go anyway.
Gain: Looking ahead, what lesson or insight do you hope to carry forward this year?
Growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone. This year, I’m focusing on trusting my instincts and backing myself more.
It’s easy to get caught up in comparison, but the most meaningful progress happens when you stay aligned with your values and focus on what genuinely energises you.
I want to keep creating opportunities both for myself and for the people around me.
Elle Collison – Event Manager
Give: What one piece of advice would you give your younger self?
I’d tell my younger self that it’s okay if things don’t unfold in a straight line. Most people are figuring things out as they go, even when it doesn’t look like it.
Gain: Looking ahead, what lesson or insight do you hope to carry forward this year?
I want to keep challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone, embracing new experiences, responsibilities and perspectives – even when they’re unfamiliar.
Striving to Do More, Striving to Do Better
Today we are shining a particular spotlight on these five women, but we celebrate and value them every day.
Recognising women shouldn’t begin and end on the 8th of March. At Blend Group, we’re committed to making sure these conversations about ambition, growth, support, and resilience are part of how we work every day.
Our appreciation stretches to the countless women working in sport, events and other industries where women are still underrepresented.
